Portland is different from most other cities and I’m not talking about the whole Keep Portland Weird thing.

I mean, yeah, that’s a thing. But it’s kind of superficial.

One of the awesome and unusual things about Portland is the way the neighborhoods are like villages, all connected to each other and the city.

Each one has a distinct personality and while the differences can be subtle, they’re there if you know how to look. Or if you have someone like me to show you.

Hey, here’s an idea. How about I show you around?

If you’re thinking of moving here, I’ll help you figure out where you might feel most at home. And if you’re just visiting, I’ll help you figure out why you really want to live here.

I will. I can do that. I’m very persuasive.

Check out the tours I have going in Southeast Portland (arguably the most Portland part of Portland –– where hippies and hipsters live in harmony with people who have had hip replacements). I have three. Pick one. Aw, heck. Pick all three.
